Throughout his career, Scott has overseen wide ranging aspects of the development and construction leading teams through approximately three billion dollars ($3B) in successful real estate projects.

A Growing Portfolio of Impactful Projects

Since its inception in 2023, BRE has secured over half a billion dollars in development projects conceptualized to serve the needs of current and future generations. Three recent initiatives particularly highlight the firm’s commitment to Long Island’s growth and revitalization. 

The Shops at Broadway

​BRE has joined forces with the real estate development companies AJM, KABR and BTF Capital to purchase and redevelop a 1.3 million square foot retail shopping mall on nearly 70 acres in Hicksville, Long Island. The project will include significant redevelopment and a repositioning, including elements of both adaptive reuse and new ground-up construction.

The Bridge – Mineola

In the heart of Mineola, a long-vacant classical bank building will be repurposed as the anchor of Mineola Downtown—a mixed-use, transit-oriented development. Offering both retail and rental apartments, the project embraces a neighborhood feel with walkability to shops and services and easy proximity to public transportation. Mineola Downtown will play a significant role in the area’s continued revitalization, aligning with the needs of today’s suburban residents.

Looking Ahead

Construction for The Shops on Broadway, Mineola Downtown, and The Bridge will unfold over the next five years, laying the groundwork for BRE’s continued growth across Long Island and beyond. 


BRE has secured and acquired several other properties in the New York metropolitan area currently in various stages of planning and development, with a focus on thoughtfully designed residential, retail, and healthcare projects.
